While the REIA this week decreed as “highly fanciful” any forecasts of a crash in the residential market, CoreLogic sees a continuing decline in activity, with Sydney and Melbourne particularly having a “higher level of downside risk.”
To provide us with insight from the ground, Oriel and Ben are joined by Katie Cotton, National Manager at payment solution provider easyBondpay.
“Listings are still there” according to Cotton. And with a recent increase in activity around their easyAdpay product, she sees this as a reflection of vendors weighing up their options while “knowing things are a little bit on edge.”
“Everyone’s doing the best they can. We’re still selling, we’re still listing, there are still properties being let, everything is still going as the weeks continue.”
With COVID-19 also impacting the way we view and consume news, Oriel and Ben speak with Fiona Okeson Commercial Director at online content marketplace, Partica.
To help agents stay connected with their audience, Partica have developed The Real Estate Voice from which agents can download for free, prewritten articles for use in their online and offline marketing campaigns.
“All we ask is because it’s free content, they just link it straight back to the original article on The Real Estate Voice website.”
Beyond content and in an effort to truly support the industry, the site also shares tips from real estate coaches and motivators and provides a product directory. Aiming “to make it really easy for agents to learn, to share and to be motivated during COVID-19” the site is also a pivot for Partica.
