Despite traditionally quiet season, free-to-list portal adds 1,200 offices across Australia in a 6 week period.

13th February 2015- Homely.com.au, the revolutionary new real estate website combining Australia’s most beautiful search experience with free property listings has confirmed it is receiving record sign ups from agents.

After just 14 months, Homely’s growth is now at an all time high, adding 1,200 offices since January 2015 and is on track to approach 100% market coverage sooner than originally anticipated.

CEO Jason Spencer commented “We have had a record month in January. For a time that is predicted to be quiet with agents away on holidays, we managed to sign up over 1,200 offices. This was a nice surprise as we didn’t anticipate these numbers and we are well ahead of where we planned to be”

“This is incredibly exciting as we prepare to bring what we believe to be the most beautiful way to find a new home, to the wider consumer market in 2015. To go from start-up to nearing 100% market coverage in fourteen months gives us great confidence that Australian real estate agents want to see legitimate competition to the established portals. We strongly believe we are fixing the problems associated with continuously increasing advertising costs, and the frustrations experienced by consumers due to a cluttered search experience.”

Homely is also scaling up its development, sales and marketing teams to support the growth.

Homely’s National Sales Director, Rocky Bartolotto said “A significant amount of our current sign-ups are from word of mouth. Most have noticed their competitors onboard Homely and being free-to-list see no downside. We are a viable alternative for those agents trying to be smarter in where their advertising money goes”.
