MyOFI announced the official launch of their two Apps, MyOFI and MyOFI Agent, in the App store.
Registering potential buyers and renters at an open for inspection is a manual and time consuming process that has not evolved in decades. The process itself is annoying to both potential buyers and renters.
MyOFI and MyOFI Agent have launched to fill an apparent technology gap at property open for inspections.
By using the Apps, buyers, renters and agents can save 75% of time registering at property open for inspections.
The Apps work as one, one catering to consumers for easy registration and the other to real estate agents for easy data collection.
By downloading and using MyOFI Agent, the agent can simply scan a QR code and they have all of the buyer and renter registration details quickly and easily.
“Every real estate agent knows that data is the key to growing a successful business. The problem is the time it takes to get information from the potential buyer/renter at the open for inspection, then into the database accurately so it can be managed efficiently.
Data entry is one of the biggest non-dollar productive activities in real estate.
By encouraging buyers/renters to use the MYOFI app, the agent and the buyer/renter will save time at every open for inspection.
Accurate collected data is emailed to the agent once they close the open for inspection on the app and/or imported directly into the agents database, saving the agent or assistant hours every week” said Tatiana Mijalica of Maverick Strategies and the developers of MyOFI.
For buyers and renters – it will eliminate frustration of waiting to give their details at every open for inspection rather than actually walking through the property.
Buyers/renters use the MyOFI app, sign up, enter their details and receive a unique QR code they can use to scan/register at open for inspections.
The QR code contains the buyers/renters details: name, phone number, email address and property search requirements. These are transferred to the Agent app once scanned.
The buyer/renter app also keeps a record of all attended open for inspections for easy reference with photos, agent contact details and notes field.
For real estate agents – it will allow more time to focus on building rapport and establishing buyer interest levels rather than the correct spelling of names and taking down details.
Once office set up has been completed, real estate agents use the MyOFI Agent app, automatically populated with their upcoming open for inspections.
By simply clicking on the relevant open for inspection and using the scanner, they can register all attendees at the open for inspection.
If the buyer/renter does not have the MyOFI app, the agent can still type their details into the App (name, phone number, email, and property search requirements) and have these added to the attendees list of the open for inspection.
Upon completion of the open for inspection, attendee’s details (name, phone number, email, and property search requirements) are automatically emailed to the agent and/or imported into their respective database.
MyOFI and MyOFI Agent are available now at the App store.

Once agents and property seekers are educated I think this app will take off. Certainly there is a need to streamline the collection of these details at opens.

Data collection made easy – it’s about time. The consumers and agents will love this – business owners especially.
