Thanks to one of my readers, but this one is quite funny.
MyTickets.com.au (owned by Fairfax) would like to thank MyHome (owned by PBL) for the free promotion on Yahoo and MSN Search. It seems someone had a little play in their system last week. When a user of the search engines typed in certain keywords.
Here are the screenshots, it seems the url’s that directed from these ads actually went to MyHome but the URL’s were incorrect.

That’s an expensive mistake… I guess somebody else at myhome will be replaced soon!

Interesting. Yahoo (powers MSN search in Oz and Optus Net and Microsoft Live)and is currently undergoing upgrades on accounts with their new ppc management system Panama. However I don’t think the Platinum team at Yahoo would have done this one. I wonder if these two have the same company managing their account at Yahoo. Copy / Paste ? OOps! I would be surprised if PBL have an inhouse team, as I know Fairfax digital dont.

Mark, yes, I think you are right. It is a pretty ordinary effort. I think a few sore bottoms may have come out of this one.
