One thing that has come to my attention recently is for residential agencies and commercial listings on the realestate.com.au portal.
If a residential agency has an account with realestate.com.au they can add as many residential listings as they like but the reality is from time to time these agents take on commercial listings. In my system I have over 25,000 properties in the database and less than 500 commercial listings, but realestate.com.au do not allow these agencies to have commercial listings go up onto their realcommercial.com.au website. Trying to charge these agents extra for commercial listings in my opinion is just penny pinching. Management should have rethink and allow 10 commercial listings to be live at any one time for residential agents. No other portal charges extra for commercial listings and as this is only a small percentage of their listings I think it is time to at least give something back to their “valued clients”.
