Realestate.com.au add New Zealand to its popular real estate portal this week. The New Zealand section of the site already has well over 1000 listings and a number of agents across the Island.
It is a smart move because New Zealand Portals are very weak and property prices in New Zealand are fairly low to Australian standards.
The listings and system is pretty much similar to Australian agents system and will be a good measure to see how their power in Australia transfers across the Tasman.
My feeling is that it will be very successful, I have had some experience with New Zealand portals and they are terrible to use for agents.
