Why?
The delivery model is completely out of whack. How the hell can they charge a per listing fee?
Are they charging the same fees for the founding agents?
The Propertylook.com.au site according to Red Sherrif (Neilson Netratings October 2004) receives less than half of the visitors of realcommercial.com.au (20,951 compared to 51,634) and again less than the privately owned and operated commercialrealestate.com.au.
So how can they charge fees rumoured to be over $200.00 per listing?
Completely and utterly astounds me, maybe some agents want to be seen playing with the big boys – to me it is just dumb business.

Let us say your agency advertises 200 commercial properties per annum.
If you joined either commercialrealestate.com.au or realcommercial.com.au for a year it will cost you about $3000.00 per annum.
If you advertised the same amount of listings on Propertylook.com.au it will set you back over $40,000…….and that is for a site that gives you less visitor numbers.
Yes and you are promoting the Propertylook site every time you quote a Propertylook ID number on your signage.
